We’d like to introduce you to our newest–and, let’s face it, cutest– team member. Meet Frankie.
We run a pretty tight ship here at Mighty Engine, and the application process isn’t for the faint of heart. But that’s no pant for Frankie, who was clearly top dog and scampered into our hearts on four little legs.
She joins us having just been adopted by senior designer Julie Frey. After years of pining for a pup to call her own, Julie wandered over to Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia’s Super Adoption Day this past weekend. With 30 adoption agencies on hand, it’s one of the largest events of its kind in the country. Hundreds of animals find loving new homes away from the streets and city shelters. And it was here, through Operation Ava, that Julie met Frankie.
Frankie was hit by a car recently, and is still recovering from some of the wounds she suffered. But this half-Pomeranian half-Papillon bundle of energy has taken quite well to her new role at Mighty Engine. She’s personable, clever, and never afraid to ask for what she wants (human food)–all qualities of an exceptional Mighty Engine staffer. Occasionally, she’ll tuck way for a nap, but she’s just so cute we’ll let sleeping dogs lie.
Frankie’s a part-timer, so she’s not always around. But if you’re in, be sure to take a peek under Julie or Logan’s desk for a chance to say hi.
